“Don’t be pushed by your problems; be led by your dreams.” ~Unknown
What do you dream about? How about the dreams we have while we are awake? Keep your dreams alive. Understand to achieve anything requires faith and belief in yourself, vision, hard work, determination, and dedication. Remember all things are possible for those who believe. – Gail Devers
Want to know how to make your dreams come true? Here’s a helpful guide to keep you right along the way.
1.Make a vision board
We’ve all heard that having a goal without a plan is just a wish. A vision boards should contain pictures, quotes, or anything that inspires you. It will represent your goals and dreams by pictures and inspirational phrases. Vision board will help you focus on and achieve life goals that are meaningful and effective. It represents your dreams, your goals, and your ideal life.
Visualize and affirm your desired outcomes. It will help you to make your dream a reality. Visualization of your goals activates your creative subconscious to take the necessary actions to achieve your dreams. Close your eyes and picture it. It will remind and help you relive your goal.
3. Ignore the “Haters”
Make a list of people that are holding you back. Stay away from people that don’t believe in you. “Don’t destroy yourself by allowing negative people add gibberish and debris to your character, reputation, and aspirations. Keep all dreams alive but discreet, so that those with unhealthy tongues won’t have any other option than to infest themselves with their own diseases.” – Michael Bassey Johnson
4. Always believe in your dreams
Take action towards your dreams. Dreams make life worth living. If you can’t believe in miracles, then believe in yourself. When you want something bad enough, let that drive push you to make it happen. Sometimes you’ll run into brick walls that are put there to test you. Find a way around them and stay focused on your dream. Where there’s a will, there’s a way.” – Isabel Lopez.
5. Take action!
Figure out what you need to do and make your dream happen. An action is a great restorer and builder of confidence. Inaction is not only the result, but the cause, of fear. Perhaps the action you take will be successful; perhaps different action or adjustments will have to follow. But any action is better than no action at all.
